The Fall of Reach

Strength:
Adolescent age without MJOLNIR:
Page 67 – John kills or maims 4 ODST’s in pure hand-to-hand combat. He broke the ribs of the first combatant, broke the wrist of the second, broke the pelvis of the third, and hit the fourth so hard with a metal bar that he was propelled up and over the ropes.

Page 72 – A Spartan punches a heavily armored soldier with enough force to leave dents in the armor. John kicks another one with enough force to propel him 8 meters away.

Page 73 – John rips a mounted gun from the armored suited trainer with his bare hands. General adolescent Spartan stats were given.

Adult age with MJOLNIR without energy shields:
Page 115 – It is learned that the MJOLNIR armor doubles the strength and increases the reaction speed of it’s wearer by a factor of five.

Page 203 – John crushes the skull of a Jackal with a kick.

Page 208 – James moves a large stone monolith while also fighting back the pain of losing half of his left arm.

MJOLNIR with energy shields:
Page 256 – John tears a gun from an ODST, dislocating the soldier’s shoulder in the process, then hits him with the butt of the rifle, cracking his ribs. He hits another soldier with enough force to flip him backwards. John slams his rifle down on another ODST with the force necessary to break his leg while standing.

Page 257 – John breaks the legs of three Marines by sweeping a steel pole in a wide downwards arc. He then throws a pole like a javelin using strength capable of taking the Marine off of his feet.

Page 258 – John punched another Marine with an openhanded strike, breaking his ribs. He then bent an assault rifle’s barrel.

Page 314/315 – John wrestles and fights an Elite, his physical equal, to victory.

Speed/Agility:
Adolescent age without MJOLNIR:
Page 58 – It’s revealed that Spartans have neural connections that give them 3x the reaction speed as a normal human.

Page 64 - More evidence for faster perceptions.

Page 72 - Another Spartan jumps and flips to avoid stun round fire.

Page 73 – John sidesteps a gun as it’s fired. General adolescent Spartan stats were given.

Adult age with MJOLNIR without energy shields:
Page 115 – It is learned that the MJOLNIR armor doubles the strength and increases the reaction speed of it’s wearer by a factor of five.

Page 117 – John dodges live rounds.

Page 208 – Kelly moved fast enough to grab a rock inside of a case before it fell into a hole after John told her to grab it(when it already started falling).

MJOLNIR with energy shields:
Page 252 – It is learned that having an on board AI, Cortana, installed in the MC’s armor, his already exceptional reaction speed, 20 milliseconds, will increase even more.

Page 256 – John views combat with the ODST’s in slow motion.

Pages 263/264 – John is able to dodge and deflect a missile barehanded.

Page 264 – John is able to run a ½ kilometer stretch in 17 seconds with a torn Achilles tendon.

Page 268 – John’s reaction time is one-sixth of the standard human norm under stress.

Durability:
Adolescent age without MJOLNIR:
Page 89 – John believes that it’s possible for him to survive a 30 meter drop.

Pages 90/91 – John takes a bullet in the stomach, and has the pain tolerance to ignore the wound and the concentration to still stay in the fire fight.

MJOLNIR with energy shields:
Page 257 – MJOLNIR armor energy shields are able to take the sustained fire of three Marines firing at full auto.

Page 262 – John’s shields are able to take 50mm automatic fire that would normally rip through his armor instantly.

Page 264 – John is able to run a ½ kilometer stretch in 17 seconds with a torn Achilles tendon.

The Flood

Honorable Mention:
Page 244/245 – Even without the numerous physical augmentations and armor of a Spartan, Staff Sergeant Marvin Mobuto managed to survive wave after wave of Flood before finally being taken down, which MC even stopped to show respect to him for.

Strength:
Page 103 – MC hits a Jackal’s shield with enough force to kill the shield and send the alien tumbling off a cliff, then pivots and kills a second Jackal before it has the time to properly react.

Page 110 – MC tackles and slams the head of an Elite into the deckplates, killing it instantly.

Page 222 – MC recovers from being slammed by a combat Flood form by grabbing and throwing it in the same motion, crushing it against a wall.

Page 266 – After sneaking behind them, MC breaks the spines of two Elites with hard strikes.

Speed/Agility:
Page 54 – After already engaging an Elite and a squad of Grunts at his 12, MC kills another off to his side, then goes back to the original, effectively killing off both threats.

Page 70 – MC is able to throw a plasma grenade with pinpoint accuracy onto an Elite’s helmet 30 meters away while turning from a sprint in a different direction.

Page 103 – MC hits a Jackal’s shield with enough force to kill the shield and send the alien tumbling off a cliff, then pivots and kills a second Jackal before it has the time to properly react.

Page 222 – MC recovers from being slammed by a combat Flood form by grabbing and throwing it in the same motion, crushing it against a wall.

Page 239 – MC sidesteps a charging carrier form without looking, then shoots it in the back.

Durability:
Page 36/37 – MC tanks a plasma bolt from behind thanks to his shields, rolls with it, then kills the Grunt who shot him. The same weapon that fired the plasma bolt was capable of melting the metal of the bulkhead’s ceiling, yet his shields left the MC unscathed.

Page 50 – MC survives a lifeboat crash that ripped the boat open and killed everyone else inside of it, and still is able to get moving without the need of first aid.

Page 105 – MC takes a fuel rod shot square on without ill effect, which is the same type of gun that is capable of melting a normally armored human.

Page 143 – The Spartan takes yet another fuel rod shot full on and remains unharmed.

Page 167/168 – After taking a razor sharp spine through his shoulder muscle, MC still manages to kill a Hunter.

Page 222 – MC recovers from being slammed by a combat Flood form by grabbing and throwing it in the same motion, crushing it against a wall.

Page 224 – The combat Flood form of Mendoza whips it’s tentacles against MC’s armor with enough force to weaken his shields and nearly knock him off of his feet, but MC is still able to recover and kill it.

Page 282 – The MC takes a blow to the back of his head that would have killed any normal human.

First Strike

Due to there being so few usable feats in this novel, I won't bother categorizing them.

Page 10 – We learn the limits of the Spartan armor, in that despite all of the shielding, hydrostatic gel, and armor, they cannot handle a supersonic impact.

Page 16 – Kelly throws a rock with enough accuracy and velocity to kill a Jackal with a blow to the head. Fred grabs the arm of another Jackal and shatters the bones in it’s arm with a squeeze.

Page 70 – The MC pulls open a closed, malfunctioning doorway with his bare hands, receiving continuous plasma fire the entire time.

Pages 72-75 – Fighting off injuries and fatigue from non-stop fighting on Halo, with recently malfunctioning energy shielding, the MC kills a black armored Elite, armed with a plasma sword, in H2H combat.

Pages 311-313 – The MC outwrestles a Brute, his physical superior.
